Project
What is the “Setouchi Art Museum Link” Project
As a wide-area collaboration project for the Setouchi Triennale 2025, which will be held from April 18, 2025, eight art museums across three prefectures— Kagawa, Okayama, and Hyogo—will host exhibitions primarily showcasing works by contemporary Japanese artists during the festival period. With the Osaka-Kansai Expo being held around the same time as the Setouchi Triennale, we are expecting many visitors from overseas to come to the Setouchi region. In an effort to promote cutting-edge contemporary art and the unique culture and charm of each region, a common discount ticket for all eight museums will be available, along with round tours (see the backside for details). Through this initiative, we aim to deliver a message of art from Setouchi, and make Setouchi a holy place for arts.
